James W. Heeps - Chairman
A graduate of Allen High School and Cornell University, Jim, whose uncle Kermit started K. Heeps in 1948, joined the family business in 1976 and bought the company in 1983. Since then, Heeps has expanded the operation by developing innovative products for niche markets, and broadening the company's sales and service area to a 150 mile radius of Allentown. Along the way, Heeps and his management team also acquired one produce and two seafood companies, both of which processed foods for the foodservice industry. Jim was also president of the North American Meat Processors Association (N.A.M.P.) from 2000 to 2001. Wife: Debbie, Sons: Beau and Ted.


Beau J. Heeps - President
A graduate of Parkland High School and Susquehanna University, Beau, son of Jim, joined the family business full time in 2002. After working nearly every position in the company, Beau was named President in July of 2008. Along the way he earned his certifications from ServSafe and H.A.C.C.P., both food safety training courses. Beau is also a member of the Delaware Valley Family Business Center's Next Generation Learning Lab, which mentors young professionals who work in family businesses. In 2010, Beau became a Board Member of N.A.M.P. (North American Meat Processors Association). Wife: Lynn, Sons: Lucas and Logan, Daughter: Layla


Ted L. Heeps - Vice President
Ted, son of Jim, vice president and director of sales, is a graduate of Parkland High School. He is also in charge of the fresh and frozen seafood departments and is H.A.C.C.P. certified by the USDC/NOAA Quality Management Program. Ted is ServSafe Certifed and a member of N.A.M.P. (North American Meat Processors Association). He represents the company as a sales representative in Berks County and the local Lehigh Valley area. Ted services seasonal fair accounts at local and regional festivals throughout the fair season and he is involved with the U.S.O. raising money for the troops. Sons: Brady and Ronan
